Feel Stuck? Therapy Can Help
My approach is to listen, see and understand you. I listen for challenges, longings, situations, and relationships. I listen for the ideas of change and hope. I listen to hear how you want to be in this life. I have been trained in many different methodologies because I believe that different situations require a variety of approaches. Since we are all unique my approach to treatment varies depending on your needs.
My method is to be empathic and engaging. I believe that therapy is a place for self-expression and healing. I work to provide an environment that will help you to learn and practice emotional skills, improve communication, and develop a keener awareness and understanding of yourself and others. I provide a space for clients to participate using a collaborative process for setting goals and evaluating progress as we go along. This connection can help build self-confidence and deeper self-awareness. I want you to leave knowing you have several tools in your toolbox to use in daily practice.
At the heart of our work together exists the therapeutic relationship. It is from this relationship that we will build a safe, collaborative and non-judgmental environment for you to meet your treatment goals.
